I HAVE ACCESS TABLE WITH DATE FIELDS WITH DIFFRENT DATES FORMATED LIKE YYYYMMDD OF HOW WOULD I CONVERT TO MM/DD/YYYY? WHEN FORMATING WITH EXCEL FORMAT FIELD IT ERRORS IN NUMBER SIGNS

##### in Excel normally means the column isn't wide enough to show the data. Take a look at the format property in the table design or look into the format function

nah that wasn't it. i am looking for some vba code that may covert the dates.

Hi,

faq68-5827

You can convert these STRINGS quite easly WITHOUT code, selection the data, using Data > Text to columns, using no delimiter and selecting the YMD Column data DATE format.
