Hello,

Today, two questions lol

1°)How can I do to make a date field so that it accepts as well a entry with format dd/mm/aaaa or mm/aaaa or aaaa.

2°)In my memories, it is possible to group together several TPS files in only one, but I don't remember the way do do that

Many thanks for your help

Have a good Sunday

Hi!

1) You will have to settle for a STRING column only. On entry, you need to validate to see if it valid in any of the three formats.

2) These are called TPS "super" files and you just need to set the NAME() attribute as 'MyFile.TPS\!MyUniqueName'.

From the help ::

Storing Multiple Tables in a single .TPS File

By using the characters '\!' in the NAME() attribute of a TopSpeed file declaration, you can specify that a single .TPS file will hold more than one table. For example, to declare a single .TPS file 's&p.tps' that contains 3 tables called supp, part and ship:

Supp FILE,DRIVER('TopSpeed'),PRE(Supp),CREATE,NAME('S&P\!Supp')

...

Part FILE,DRIVER('TopSpeed'),PRE(Part),CREATE,NAME('S&P\!Part')

...

Ship FILE,DRIVER('TopSpeed'),PRE(Ship),CREATE,NAME('S&P\!Ship')

...

Regards
