Some of the dates are incomplete—such as, 12/2010 or just 1999; therefore, I had to change from using a Date/Time datatype to using three separate number fields—that is, Month, Day, Year. The problem is they want the fields to default to the current date, but still be able to change the date. Can that be done? If so, how shall I approach it? Or, should I just tell them they will have to enter the date each time.

What did you try? Are you having trouble creating expressions for the current month, day, and year? You might want check out the various date related functions.

I tried a hidden default Date/Time field with the three fields control source equal to this field.

Anyway, I was looking for a quick answer because I don't have time to research all the various date functions and stuff. I thought someone else had already handle a situation like this.

OK, I had got it a couple of hours ago from another site. As you can read my mind was totally off--I was trying hidden field stuff. But... anyway thanks a bunch. Have a good weekend!
