Hi all,
This is my sample report requirement:
DateTime1(DT1) DateTime2(DT2) Diff=DT2-DT1 (hr:min)
1/10/2004 9:00AM 1/10/2004 10:45AM 1:45
1/31/2004 10:30AM 2/2/2004 11:55AM 25:55
2/28/2003 11:30AM 3/1/2003 11:30AM 24:00
The DT1 & DT2 are two attributes of the type "DateTime". Now, I need to find the diffenrece between the two attributes in the form of "hrs:min".
MSTR version: 7.5
DB: Oracle
I understand that there are many approaches for this. However, Entroadoan did mention that "Creating a fact and then developing a metric from this fact is the best option". However, can anybody shed more light on this?
Thank you.
