DATE CRITERIA ???

I need help on modifying a date criteria that I have. I've got a column in a table that contains number of weeks.

Week_Num
49
50
51
52

I have a query that would only extract the past previous 8 weeks. I run this query every week. I would like to automate this query. I manually input >41 for this week.
Any help would be appreciated.
