It appears that in Platnum they use some kind of Julian conversion that is not the standard to store dates. Does anyone know how Platnum converts this number into an actual date?

The older Platinum stored their dates as a 6 byte string. The later version uses the Pervasive Btrieve Date data type. This is a 4 byte field where 2 bytes represent the year as an integer and the other two bytes represent the day and month. You can take a look at BtSearch at to view your data and data types.

On a side note if you use the AR Module of Platinum take a look at

If your concern is eBackOffice julian (integer) date conversion, check the faq I posted here: faq633-3937
