Date compare problem

Hi all,

I need to do a report from asp. I have a form:
From (mm/dd/yyyy)
To (mm/dd/yyyy)

It suppose to display a list of record that has the appliedDate in the range entered from the form.

I use access and my appliedDate field is text format.
How do I display my report with the condition display above?
