I have 2 Crystal Reports ver 8 which use the same SQL Server tables as their source. In a Basic Syntax formula editor where I am trying to do exactly the same calculation, one requires a variable to be datetime and the other allows it to be defined as date.
If I am doing date range arithmetic, will the time component of a datetime field impact the math?
Can anyone give me an idea of why this discrepancy might be occuring. I checked Report options and both show that DateTime fields should be treated as Date.
Thanks in advance for any help!
