I am printing a DW using the DW print property. Just before printing I am getting the following error:
"Select Error : SQLSTATE = 22001 Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server String or Binary data could be truncated." Can anyone please tell me what could be the cause of the error.

So is your process similar to this:
1) retrieve dw
2) print dw ?
I assume you get the error after the retrieve but before the print?
It may be a datawindow column as defined is smaller than the data field in the database.

Well, the process is as follows:

1) Retrieve
2) Update
3) Print

Yes, there are some DW cols smaller than the DB cols but I am just using them for printing. The data is not actually saved to the Database. There is just one date which is saved and has the same col specs as the db.

take out to posible limit attributes that your columns might have in the dw.

put them all to 0.

The problem was that the source of the DW was a SP. And in that SP, while inserting data in the temp table, the temp table column had smaller size than the actual data being inserted. But thanks everyone for their responses.
