please advice.
how can i prevent the prompting of the error message in datawindow.
ex. sqlstate = 37000 ....
Does anybody know how to distinguish if the sql is valid or invalid.
Thanks in advance.

You can use the SyntaxFromSQL method which returns an empty string if an error occurs. Check the online help for particulars.
