I am wondering if there are special considerations I need to make when storing images in my database. I read something that said I can use an image data type or I can use another data type (I think it said a binary or varbinary data type).
I am new to SQL Server so I would like it if someone could offer me some words of wisdom as to why I would choose one data type over another for images, and if there are any good resources I might access for this type of information (I have found resources for managing SQL Server, and the help is okay but I am looking for something a little more substantial in the explanation of things like datatypes etc).

Thanks in advance for the advice :)
Crystal
crystals@genesis.sk.ca

--------------------------------------------------
