Hello,

I have finally managed to move a SQL datastore from one server to another AND it works! Now, no big shakes I hear you cry. But for me, this feels like a life's work.

One question: I am now using a dsn file called "mf21.dsn" - this was the file I used to connect to the new database. The old dsn file is mf20.dsn. Does it matter that the dsn file is no longer called mf20.dsn? Everything seems OK.

Thanks.

Lloyd

Citrix doesn't carewhat the datasource is called at all.

You could call it "thisismynewcitrixdatasourceonanssqlserver.dsn" and as long as you used that with the dsmaint config it would be fine.

Thanks Mike, that is good to know.

I am thinking of calling it "mayineverhavetomesswiththecitrixdatastoreagainforaslongasishalllivepleasegodhearmyplea.dsn"
