I need to ask a tricky question? No, it's only a simple one. I have installed the DataStage server and client in my laptop. Then I want to use the DataStage client to connect to the network (client). But unfortunately, I'm having a problem and getting this error , so
I just want to verify if I can connect to the network:

error:
Failed to connect to host:dstage, project UV
(Cannot find UVRPC in host services file (81014))

By the way, the version of the server (client - ver 3) is lower compared to my client (ver 5.2).

How about if I downgrade my server and client? Will it work?

What you are attempting will work, but your client and server must be the same version.
