Datasource Excel not refreshing

Hi,

I am using CR 10. I am trying to use data from a spreadsheet and a database. Basically take codes for which the data is to be pulled in the spreadsheet and transaction data from the database.When the codes are updated/added in Excel, it does not refreshed and displayed in the Crystal report. Why? Is it because it is multiple datasources?
 
When you say "the codes are updated/added in Excel" What does that mean, exactly? Are you adding new columns of data or new rows? Or what?

Click on database, verify database, and then refresh the report and let me know what happens.

I did that, but it did not refresh the data from the spreadsheet.....
 
And if you open up the spreadsheet, in excel, the new data is still there?
