I have been reading some of the other threads and I was hoping someone could answer a question about changing the data source for a Crystal 9.2 report at runtime to a different text file.

When I read thread766-1200842 the instructions didn't match up with version 9.2.

When I read articals like thread766-1198607 I couldn't figure out where they were entering that code.

Can this be done in my version? What is the best way?

Thank You,

I was able to figure out how to get the example discussed in thread766-1200842 to work in version 9. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to pass a parameter to a report from the command line. I need to lauch Crystal from a "shell" envirnment and pass it a parameter. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

sabloomer
