Hello!

I have a form that has sveral tabs. On one tab is the usual "input form" and what I'd like to do is to create another tab that shows all the current records in a datasheet, so that when a user selects a name and switches back to the input form, that persons details appears. It's very similar to the way in which Lotus Approach works.

However, when I do this in Access, the datasheet view only shows details for the current record and doesn't list all records. Any way around this?

Thanks,

Kevin.

Yes,
First of all you have to understand that a TAB is setting on top of a main form so it can only see the data of it. Main forms can only see one record at a time.
Try this add a Subform to the TAB that you want.
A subform will show more than one record in the same recordset or a different recordset. And you can link it or not to the recordset of the main form.
