I have a customer with the Mitel 200 D running light or 15enh. He has a dataset 1103 connected to a PMS system that has worked fine up to about 2 weeks ago. Right now all three red lights are on on the dataset but there's no communication between it and the PMS.
I connected my laptop into the dataset and was able to get a reply from it but I sent it as a control f.
I would like to know what other ways to test the dataset before I have him call his PMS vendor.
Thanks for any help.

If it is responding to a CTRL-F with your laptop then I would say you've proven it enough.

What does it respond with though?

I normally test with CTRL-E (ASCII Char 05) and the response should be Ascii Char 06 which is an ACK (CTRL-F by the way)

There are ways to manually send a simple check-in or check-out but I've NEVER seen that fail if the system is responding with ACKs
