Hello all, i recently found an issue with one of my attendant datapulse intuition 1000 gateway systems. The system was not booting up so I hooked up a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the onboard ports on the back of the device and rebooted it. It appears at first that its booting normally, but then it freezes up shortly after. I noticed it uses a USB thumb drive as its hard drive, considering the drive may be corrupted causing it not to boot, is there any way to reload the USB drive found inside the case of the data pulse intuition gateway? i searched high and low for a procedure, but can't seem to find one which makes me believe its not possible. Any help would be great. thanks a bunch!!

All I could find were two reports below
If your Datapulse Intuition IP Console Locks Up try the following:
Install patch: MPLR22907
If that doesn't work change the Digital Line Card from a GA (eg: NT8D02GA) to an EB

Customer reporting various issues with the new IP version of a consol interface unit. The new Ig unit communicates with a windows based pc running the datapulse switchboard software.
Now and then the consol would lose connectivity with the CS1000.
Investigation proved that there were duplicate IP addresses on the network. ie another pc or IP telephone had the same Ip address.
In this site this was due to the DHCP server not being configured properly. It was supposed to reserve certain IP addresses (ie the hard coded ones) but instead gave the Ip address out to an internet telephone. Changing the scope in the DHCP server, and rebooting the offending telephone sorted the problem.

Cabled up right? There are no PWR TN's just 2 digital TNS. The Gateway usually comes with a 25way to RJ45 and the pinout is:
RJ45 25way use example connection to DLC
3 15 TN1 White/Orange
4 2 TN0 White/Blue
5 14 TN0 Blue/White
6 3 TN1 Orange/White
GENERAL – READINESS, CABLES AND CONNECTIONS
o Power – Connected. Blue lamps illuminated on front of Intuition Gateway
o XDLC cabled from PBX – Connected. Check the status lamp located at the front of the Intuition Gateway unit (should be flashing green or solid green…)
If you connect with a serial on 57600 8n1 do you see login prompt?
From what i remember the thumb drive contains a version of Linux (Might be DSL) but there will obviously be extra drivers and software relevant to interfacing with the CIU board that is inside of the gateway.
