Datamax E-4203 and printing via AIX 4.3.3

Hi Gurus,

I am wondering if any one could help me with this problem?

Currently we print off labels using Eltron/Zebra LP and TLP label printers via HP Jet Direct Print servers. This works fine with the following settings in the AIX print connections via smit spooler:

As you can see we are using Passthrough printing and code Page of print file ISO8859-1 and code page of printer set to ibm.850

Unfortunately all I get is a quick flash of the printer light to acknowledge it has recieved the data but nothing comes off the printer. Has anyone had any experince with these printers?
