A Google search on Datagrid CSS tutorial brought up this which looks interesting (to me):

What's a datagrid?
Is it Microsoft term for a table of data?
If so, use table tags as presenting tabular data is what they are designed to do.

The datagrid I found using Google looks like a really neat way of creating HTML tables in PHP. It seems to save writing a lot of PHP code. I hope to try it out in the next few days.
I don't think that I had heard of it prior to Jack's posting.
It would appear to have nothing to do with Microsoft as it is PHP.

AFAIK, datagrid is a MS control that is used to display (and sort and filter etc.) records from a database and outputs really attrocious html code full of non-semantic tagging and deprecated elements.
