Datagrid ReLocating User Inside The Grid

Hi All and thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I'm having the worst time trying to reposition the user in the correct column and row of the grid after a DB violation....what is the simplest method to relocate the user to the spot where the infraction occurred.
