Hi All

I have a simple package which truncates a table and ships data across from an MSaccess db

on SQL 2000 box time taken the duration is 5 seconds

on the SQL2005 box time is between 13 - 16 seconds

even through the new 2005 box is 64bit and treble the spec

I would have thought it would have been quicker? is there anything I could look @ ?

rows shipped 17715

table lock and check constraints are ticked.
on OLE DB destination

Thanks

I believe the driver for MSAcess is 32 bit only so you won't see any increase in the 64bit enviroment with a 32 bit data source.
