Hello,
New to interdev, but I thought I would give it a shot. I have a copy of Visual Interdev 1.0 and am also using VI6. I have one question and problem. In VI1 you can right-click the page and insert the datacommand activex control. In VI6 I assume it is the same thing as dragging and dropping the datacommand activex control. This is problem, When I do this in VI1, no problem. When I do this in VI6, I can load the control, name the control, select the database, but when I select Stored Procedures out of the CommandType select box I get an error that says "there are no selected objects with property pages". If I convert the control to text and add in the commandtype, the connection works.
I hope I have explained myself clearly. My question is not so much how to connect to a database, but more about the functionality of the ActiveX datacommand control.
Your responses are greatly appreciated.
