I have a SQL Server (MSDE version) running on a remote server. Using the server ip address and sa account I have registered it in Enterprise Manager. It was working fine for a couple of month, but lately when I open enterprise manager the databases won't appear in the list;not even the master database. All appears under the database node is "No Items". I can connect to the server and different databases using query analyzer and all the databases appear in the Query Analyzer database list.
Also I have another instance of MSDE runnning on the same server and I connect to it with no problem using enterprise manager, but I can't figure out why the other one won't show the database list!
