Database's: what???

OK, I just don't understand the data control, what I want is to do is the following and I can't figure it out:

- User enter's username and password then cliks OK.
- My App checks to see if it is a valid username by searching through the database.
- If the username is corrent it will then check that the password for that user is correct.
- If it is the program will move to a new form.
- If one, or both of it, is incorrect a message box is shown with the error.

Why don't you check through the forum. There is a lot of code here. I'm sure you will understand it a lot better if you find it yourself. Peter Meachem
