Database window is blank

I reinstall Office XP pro and SP3 recently. The problem is when I close a table, the database window is blank. I should click Query or Form etc. then click Table, the contents of Table display. Same thing happens when I close a query.
Please help and thanks a lot in advance!

This happens to me with Access XP only... I have installed all of the SPs but no better.
Just another undocumented "feature" from Microsoft and be grateful you didn't have to pay extra!

How are you able to even view the database window? I have the same problem but I can't view the datbase window no matter what I do. Everything is checked and even when I choose window the first option is to "hide". I've choosen that and then tried unhide and it even says the propper database but nothing appears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
