Ok, this is weird. I was merily working my way along with a user form (desining - no vba code at all on the form, only 3 text boxes, one of them calculated), when I suddenly noticed I could not find the database window.

If I hit <F11>, I can tell by looking at the toolbar that the database window is selected, but I can't see it. I tried compacting and repairing, creating a new database from the old one, looking through the optinos, view menu, etc. This database had no special things done to it as of yet.

The only clue I can find is that I see a scroll window at the bottom of the Access screen, and I cannot bring it all the way back over to the left by dragging the little "location finder" I guess you can call it. The only way I can get it to move is to left click to the left of that "location finder", and hold down the clicker, and slowly watch it move to the left. It took over one or two minutes so far just to move it say maybe 1/3 to the left of the full screen.

I've also tried maximize/restore changes, etc. If anyone knows a "quick fix" for this weird event, please post.

Thanks.

Well, I sat here for what seemed like an eternity, but was probably something like an additional 5 minutes or so, and scrolled all the way back to the left, and still see nothing. What's the deal?

Any ideas?

Tried rebooting, still no go.

Any ideas?

maximize the main access window, then menu Windows -> Mosaic ...

If your menu bar is hidden then try to reopen the DB with the Shift key depressed.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks, PHV!

Well, now I feel really stupid, but nonethless, the problem is fixed! [blush]

Well, color me stupid - it's been another one of those DUH! moments. [ponder]

Oh, and the fix was to do this:
Window Menu ->
Tile Horizontally.

There was no "Mosaic", but you probably meant one of the other more simple terms, anyway. [wink]

Sorry for the bad wording of the menu: I'm not playing with an english version of ms-office ...

Ahh, I see. No big deal, I had an idea of what you meant when I pulled down the "Window" menu. What version of Access do you use, out of curiosity?
