Hi...I need to build a website [pc2] in which I can make User Accounts, in which the user enters information, the information is saved in a database[pc], and then as a user searches for the information he needs, he gets the results[pc3] of his particular searching key words, or according to specific areas?? I need to build this website as fast as possible. Please tell me in DETAIL what I need to do or learn, to do it. I'm also willing to buy any expensive software, if that will do the job.[deejay][thumbsup2] Thank you

not an auspicious start for a first post!

This is a technical forum for people to get help on issues where the solution has eluded them.

I suggest you do a google search for content management systems.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Or you could install PHP, APACHE and MYSQL on your computer(they're all free to download). You can write your PHP scripts and test them on that set up.
Then get some LINUX/PHP web hosting (very cheap) to upload to.
There are lots of scripts on the net that you could customize to suit your needs. Like Chris says you need to do some googling.

Please tell me in DETAIL what I need to do or learn, to do it. I'm also willing to buy any expensive software, if that will do the job.

Why not hire someone to build it then? Contact some of the forum users through their sites in their signatures and ask them for a quote. (PS, dont bother contacting me, I'm not interested in this. [smile])

Hope this helps

Wullie
