Database was not found

Using Backup Exec 8.5 to try and back up an Exchange 2000 server. Job fails immediately with "The database was not found and could not be backed up. Please make sure database exists and is mounted." I'm pretty sure it exists and is mounted, since I'm not having any e-mail issues. Any recommendations?

To backup Exchange 2k with BE 8.5, you need to have the Exchange 2K Agent installed. You cannot use the Exchange 5.5 Agent for Exchange 2K. Will have to research this further.
