Database View Not updating in the report 1

Hi,

I am using Crystal Reports 8.5 and the oracle database. I am connecting to the oracle database using CR Oracle8 V3.6 driver.

I created a database view in the database and created the report. When I updated the view by adding a couple of fields in the view and try to update the view in the report using "Verify Database" its not actually updating the view with the new fields.

I am not sure whats happening? why it is not doing that. If I delete that view and the view again then I could see those fields in the view.

can anybody explain what to do in order to get those fields when I click "Verify Database" in the report database menu.

Were you in the report when you changed the view? If so, you have to Database->Log on/Logoff Server... and then Database->Verify Database.
