Database UserName/Password and Prompts

We are developing an application that has an oracle database as its backend. We can access reports that use data from the database utilizing user0 and password0 just fine. We also can access reports utilizing prompt values. Yet, when we try to tie them together utilizing all three, it will not work!!! Any help?

I've had Oracle reports working fine with prompts and user logins under both the WCS and CR8.0 and CE and CR8.5

Can you post an example of your URL?
Could it be youa re hitting some limit on the length of the URL?

I don't think it is because of the length of the URL because in one my complex reports I managed to put 17 parameters to my web report.I ma not sure but I may be a syntax error or the parameters order may not be correct.
