I have several databases that need to be updated weekly from the AS400. They are stored in separate databses. Each database has its own macro that calls queries that update its data tables. The external databses also log any errors and rollback the updates if errors occur. I need to create a main databes that will call each external database, run the macro, and then validate that everything occurred without issue. If an error occurs then log that error so the incident may be researched and repaired later. Each of the "child" database must be open exclusivly in order to perform the updates.
