Guys,
I have these two files in the Database folder in my Arcserve 6.61, Astpsdat.000 and Astpsdat.001. Size around 500mb each, are these files important? Otherwise I would want to delete it.

Gracias

For sure they are important, they are databases for all files which has been backuped. If you delete them you are going to have trouble restoring files, even making Arcserve working !!
If you want to reduce their size, you have to change database retention time.
Call Arcserve Server Admin, click on "Configure Engines", choose "Database Engine".
Make sure "Enable Databse Pruning" is enable, reduce value for "Prune Database Records Older Than".
Be aware you will have less datas in your database, so you will not see all sessions when you want to restore.
After database are "pruned", you will have to pack databases with "DBMGR" (exec on Arcserve directory).
Good luck.
