I have a question, I am having problems with passing the machine name (data source name), database name, user name and password by URL to reports. Once we passed we can not get the machine name (data source name), database name to the report. We are following the PDF help guide from crystal website.
We are using Crystal 8.5 and our UI is coded by JSP.

Thanks

URL reporting and the commands can be a bit tricky. Are your reports ODBC or native?

You may try taking your JSP app out of the mix and simply write the URL youself in the address bar as such

Notice what you get prompted for especially your database logon information.

Then add one piece to the URL and run again. This should drop your prompts by 1.

YOu will need to pass log in information for each database prompt. I have had in cases used user0=bla&password0=bla for each prompt. In others it was user0=bla&password0=bla&user1=bla&password1=bla

Kind of a trial by fire thing I suppose no rhyme or reason. Maybe why CD is dumping URL reporting post CE9

Cheers,
