Question? I know that Access 2003 format is better suited for a large database. At what point is it advisable to stop saving in the Access 2000 format and move in to the 2003 format?

I am creating the database with Access 2003, but have users that are restricted to Access 2000. Do we upgrade them to 2003?

What do you feel the max size limit would be for both and still have a function database?

Access file limit is 2GB. A table limit is 1 GB
You don't need to upgrade them to A2003, just use the Access2000 file format for your new databases and every1 can use it, happily!

Don't know where you heard that Access 2003 format is better suited for a large database but as JerryKlmns pointed out, that's really not true. All size specifications remain unchanged. AC2003 has added some nice features making development and especially maintenance of DBs easier (documntaing object dependencies, for example) but from what I've read, there's really no earth shattering changes. When writing apps for two versions, developing in the earlier app is usually the way to go.
