Database size increasing rapidly?

I have an Access 2007 database that has a front and back end (both Access). In the last couple of weeks, something strange has started happening to the front end. The size is increasing rapidly….from 15672 kb at 7:34 to 31416 at 10:30. The backend seems OK….86276 kb at 7:34 and 87268 at 10:30. When the front end gets to 155000 kb or higher…the users can’t get in the system. I then do a repair/compact and they are OK for another day.

What could be causing this to happen?

I plan on moving the backend to SQL backend next week….if the database can hold out that much longer.

Do you have code that builds and deletes tables?
This will bloat the database drastically.
You could include a compact/repair step when closig the db.
