I am trying install a split database for one of my users. The User has the Run-Time only version of Access 2000, which is fine. This particular user also has another Database Application linked to a workgroup information file for passwords etc.

My question is, how do I setup a shortcut on his desktop, to start my database so that it recognises the System.mdw file which is located on the users server, where the data tables are also located.

In need of desperate help, nothing I type in the shortcut path is working. Can you give me a hint.

Cheers

Format for the shortcut is as follows

"C:\My Programs\Access.exe" "\\Server\Path\DatabaseName.mdb" /wrkgrp "\\Server\Path\WorkGpFile.mdw"

Double quotes etc are vital as are the space characters between each section.

'ope-that-'elps.
