database settings empty

We have a Lotus Notes database where set values in the database setting, this is a profile document. From time to time this profile is emptied so all settings are gone. Lately it is happening quite frequently, 1 - 2 times a week.

Does anybody have a clue why this could be.

Profile documents - if it really is one, are not deleted or emptied automatically. There has to be an agent or a button somewhere that some user can access that does a delete of the information.
You need to track that code down and make sure it only answers to the right people.
Are you sure the info disappears ? Could it be a Reader field that is misconfigured ?
