database results displaying more than 1 record

I have a database results page that allows you to update entries in a database, you can skip through the entry’s change the text in the fields and update the database, this all works fine

However when I change the database results properties to display more than 1 record at a time it will error out and say one of the form fields are empty provide a default value for it,

I have done this and set all fields to allow zero length entries and I still get this error,

Does anyone know how to get around this?

Easiest way I have found to avoid the error, and there probably is a better way is... in the edit form make sure there is at least a space in all form fields.
