Hello I am getting the following error:

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.
/dash/addblog.asp, line 24

When I try to write to the Database
I dont think its an IIS erroalthough I have checked all the security and have allowed all access
Thanks
D

It might be that the MDB file itself is not accessable by the default user account that the IIS server is attempting to use to access the MDB file.

Check the properties on the mdb file to make sure it isn't marked as Read Only. I know I have had this happen when I put the mdb file on a cd and then copy it back to a PC. The Read Only flag gets set.
