Can applets Read or Write to a database (Access or SQLServer)based on input from a form?

Is there a resource which:
a) shows Java Applets which create recordsets based on user input on web forms
b) or can pass parameters from form via SQL to read recordset.

Yes.Applets can very much read and write from the database. As far as resourses are concerned I dont know any web resourses. But writing such a code is not too difficult. You can refer any J2EE book and do it.
