i wrote an application that has a lot of different fields such as paper type, ink, printer, some data, some text....
right now i am saving each project individually using records....
The problem is i have a lot of project files saved on my hd.
To be more efficient, i would like to create a database where i could add a project with all its data. I, then, would have only one file including all the projects.
I am using delphi 7. i have read about bde, dbexpress....
Where can i find some good and simple explanation on how to create a simple database to fit my need.
Sincerely,
Pierre

A general database walkthrough that would suffice can be found here: [link=http://delphi.about.com/od/database/a/databasecourse.htm]About Delphi basic database guide[/url]

I hope this helps. He covers a lot of ideas and basics in there.
