Hi

I am building an online questionnaire. Each users name etc. is held in an Access database. Each user has several respondents answering questions about them. There are 12 section pages of questions. Each user needs different section pages answered about them. So when a respondent logs in idealy they will move from one section to another only seeing the relevant sections.

Is it possible to insert a database query as a form post destination? So that when the form is submitted the database is checked to see what that persons next section is and the form is posted there. I realise I will need to have the insert data info for all the sections at the top of each section page.

Or is there another way? Please help I have been struggling with this for weeks.

Many thanks

have all section forms submit to a single form-handling page

the form-handling page figures out which section was submitted, which user it's for, and then, using a database query, which section is next

all sections are displayed by the same page via includes

Hello Bud,

As stated by r937 that is the best approach, i learned this from the following set of tutorials,

I think the shopping cart covers this, but it's oviously used in a different application, it still uses the multi-step form you are trying to achieve though.

Thanks,

Rob
