Database properties window will not open!

Please give me some help:
I have Visio Pro on Windows Vista Business and I want to make an entity relation diagram by using the Database Model Diagram. If I drag an entity shape on the stencil and subsequently double-click the shape the Database Properties Window will not open!
Can anyone tell me what is wrong or what I/m doing wrong?
