Recently I have begun experiencing problems with my ARCServe 2000 database. Backups are scheduled to run at 2:00 am each morning. Lately when I come in the software has been prompting for a blank tape even though media pools are defined. When I cancel the backup and look at the media pools, none are defined.
I followed CA's instructions concerning how to clean up the database dircectory, but I am still experiencing the problem. Once the database directory is cleaned, one or two backups will run fine, and then I am back to the same problem.
Any suggestions anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
