I have created a database that was originally supposed to be merely a modification of a previous one. however, when I went into it, I preferred to delete all tables, forms, queries, reports and macros and start again. The only thing the same was the database name.

Now, whenever I open the database, I get the message 'The form name 'Switchboard' is misspelled or refers to a form that does not exist'.

The thing is that I cannot find any reference to the form 'Switchboard' anywhere in the database. How can i stop this coming up?

Many thanks

Ted

Hi Ted,
After you open the database, click on the Tools button on the menu bar. Click on the StartUp button and set the Display Form/Page combo to (none) ( This option is also an option of the combo box). This should solve your problem. Let me know what happens.

tlvChennai: Thanks for this; I should have thought of it before!

Please don't cross post over several forums. Its very time wasting for anyone out here trying to help. You now have the same answer twice in two forums!!
