Database Open Error

My error says,
"There was an error opening the SysValu database table, unable to process with the program inialization. This may indicate a problem with 'db' alias pointing to the correct directory."

I work at a place where we have a server which has the data on it. But the local computer has the data. I know the problem is that it cant find the right directory but I dont know how to configure the program.

Open paradox and then select Tools -> Alias Manager. Find your alias and make sure it's point at the data. If not, change the path.
