Database Objects - tables, forms - not visible

Hi,

I have an Access 2003 database that suddenly the database objects - Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports - are no longer viewable in the left-hand Objects pane.

The data entry forms are there in user mode, but even after holding down the shift key when opening the database, and selecting View > database ojects, the objects pane is not viewable.


Any ideas?

Do you see the bars on the left for "Objects" and "Groups"? If not, I would try create a new, blank MDB and import everything into it from the existing mdb.

Hi dhookom,

No, the entire pane is invisible, and I've done what you suggested and imported all objects into a new database, so I do have a solution to the problem.

I'm just puzzeled as to what may have happened. I've been using Access for over 9 years and this is a new one one me.

Could be some type of corruption. Maybe all of the objects were set to hidden or something.
