Occassionally users of our program get a message during program startup similar to: "Database is currently locked by user 'admin' on machine 'Dale'". Our application does not lock the database. The database is MS-Access, the program is Visual Basic 5.0 and we are using MS-JET4.0 to access the database.
I read in the Microsoft-Access-General Discussion forum that one way to fix this problem is the delete the .ldb file and that Access automatically deletes this file when the last connection closes.
How do I get our program to delete the .ldb file when it exits?
