I have an IT person who is tasked with a project to extract some information from the ACD and has asked me to provide him with:

Service Name
Global Database Name
Host Name (I have this one)
SID for Oracle 8 O, not 8 I

Where do I look for this? Thanks.

The SID should be 'ACC'
The global database name for me is 'ACC'
Our service name is also 'ACC' You can find your service name in your TNSNAMES.ORA file on the PCs that query the ACD.

Our ACDs are V8.4 which have Oracle V7.3.4.2 Databases. I'm not sure if newer ACDs have a different version of Oracle installed.

Aspect CC Rel. 9 still uses Oracle 7.x

Some hints:
Oracle 8 client is the last version you can use to access Oracle 7 DBs...

Standard reporting-clients connect using user/schema "dta".
